The State Duma adopted a law on fines of up to 200 thousand rubles for dumping garbage from vehicles

The State Duma adopted a law on fines with the possibility of confiscation of motor transport for dumping garbage from it. The amount of punishment can reach 200 thousand rubles, RIA Novosti reports.

In particular, administrative liability is established for unloading or dumping waste from motor vehicles and motor vehicles and trailers to them outside the relevant sites. The fine for citizens will be 10-15 thousand rubles, for officials – 20-30 thousand, for legal entities – 30-50 thousand rubles. Repeated violation will be punished by a double fine with or without confiscation of the vehicle.

Increased liability for similar actions will apply to trucks, trailers, tractors and other self-propelled vehicles. For citizens, fines will range from 40 to 50 thousand rubles, for officials – from 60 to 80 thousand rubles, for legal entities – from 100 to 120 thousand rubles. For a repeated violation, a fine is provided for citizens in the amount of 60-70 thousand rubles, for officials – 80-100 thousand with or without confiscation of the truck, for legal entities – 150-200 thousand rubles with or without confiscation of vehicles.

Earlier it was reported that the State Duma had prepared a bill that proposes replacing a fine for minor traffic violations with a warning and at the same time toughening responsibility for serious misconduct.
