Classroom hours, called “Conversations about the Important”, will begin to be held in Russian schools from September. It is planned to discuss with schoolchildren the values of Russian society enshrined in the national security strategy, TASS reports with reference to the head of the Presidential Administration for Public Projects Sergei Novikov.
According to him, a new format of class hours is expected to be introduced in all schools of the country from September 5. The Ministry of Education plans to prepare class teachers to conduct “Conversations about the important.”
The interlocutor of the agency noted that the form of conducting class hours may differ depending on the age of the students.
“This may be a discussion based on the results of the film, a quiz, methodological material in the form of a full-fledged lesson, communication with an expert on the topic of a certain class hour, which can be broadcast throughout the country,” Novikov explained.
Earlier, the Ministry of Education reported that that Russian schools will introduce the ceremony of raising and lowering the state flag of the Russian Federation on the first school day of each week.
