Aircraft must be used to destroy the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
On August 19, before the arrival of UN Hesek Guterres and Turkish President Erdogan in Lviv, Kyiv is preparing another provocation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, said a representative of the Russian Defense Ministry Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov. A military expert told MK how to disrupt this show.

“Performance” with radiation contamination of the area is planned to be played with the participation of the Ukrainian units of radiation, chemical and biological protection (RCBZ). They are in place, ready to save Zaporozhye from the consequences of a nuclear accident, which should happen, supposedly, due to the shelling of the nuclear power plant by Russian troops.
Naturally, everyone, including UN representatives, understands that the Russian troops, who keep the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant under complete control, will not fire on themselves. But Kyiv claims that our military, allegedly, have placed long-range artillery systems on the territory of the nuclear power plant and, hiding behind the station, are firing from them.
In order to debunk this lie, Russia demanded the personal arrival of representatives of the UN and the IAEA at the nuclear power plant. However, according to our intelligence, the Armed Forces of Ukraine want to use this visit for another provocation. Units of the 44th Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stationed in the Nikopol region, are preparing shelling of nuclear power plants, which will then be blamed on Russian troops.
According to the Hero of Russia, former intelligence officer Rustem Klupov, who expressed it in the Full Contact program with Vladimir Solovyov, the persistence with which Kyiv, without any fear, is ready to arrange a nuclear catastrophe in the center of Europe, is very alarming.
Klupov believes that we need to take under fire control all the territories where long-range fire weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be located, closely focusing all the attention of intelligence on them. At the same time, they themselves allocate special long-range weapons that can work on them. Including aviation, artillery, rocket troops.
– Our artillery and multiple launch rocket systems – MLRS, – explains the “MK” the ex-head of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Special Forces Command (Moscow Air Defense District), retired colonel Sergei Khatylev, – now they are practically beyond the firing range relative to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. There is absolutely no need for us to deploy artillery in the area of the nuclear power plant itself, since return fire will be carried out both at artillery and directly at objects on the territory of the plant.
Therefore, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are located in the Nikopol area, in terms of artillery there now have a tactical advantage. They can use nuclear power plants and artillery, and American howitzers M-777, and HIMARS rocket systems of various modifications. In terms of range, everything allows them to work.
– Reactor cooling system. They have already taken aim, and they are laying shells literally one or two meters from the tanks, where water is accumulated to cool the nuclear power plant reactors.
The same applies to the site where fuel elements are stored – spent nuclear fuel. Taking them to a safe place is not possible because of the shelling. They have accumulated a lot. And they are not in special containers, but lie directly in open areas. If Ukrainian shells get there, they can become sources of nuclear contamination in a territory within a radius of 70-100 kilometers. And this is a serious damaging factor that cannot be discounted.
– Purely organizationally, we can use the landing force by organizing the actions of reconnaissance sabotage groups. We can use SWAT. However, aviation of all kinds should become the most effective means. Assault, tactical, which can operate on the ground, unmanned – to work on point objects, and, of course, bomber, which is capable of destroying the positions of both artillery and ground units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
– Now too much is at stake a lot – the nuclear security not only of Ukraine, but of Russia and Europe. If the Armed Forces of Ukraine still achieve the goal of their provocation, nuclear contamination can spread to a territory equal in area to three Ukraine at once. Then already the human casualties will be considered not tens, but thousands, and possibly millions.
Help “MK”: According to the chief of the troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the Armed Forces The Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, on August 18, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had already fired 12 times at the territory of the nuclear power plant and the city of Energodar. More than 50 artillery shell explosions and 5 kamikaze drones were recorded. All strikes from multiple launch rocket systems, cannon artillery and using unmanned aerial vehicles are delivered from the direction of the settlements of Marganets and Nikopol, which are still under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
