How long did Yeralash director Ilya Belostotsky receive for pedophilia?

Director and director of the children's film magazine “Yeralash” Ilya Belostotsky sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony. The Solntsevsky District Court of Moscow issued a guilty verdict in a criminal case against Belostotsky.

Belostotsky was convicted of committing a crime under paragraph “b” Part 4 Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Other acts of a sexual nature committed against a person under the age of 14, using the helpless state of the victim”).

According to the Moscow prosecutor's office, on November 5-6, 2018, Belostotsky, while in his apartment in Moscow, committed sexual acts against a young boy he had previously known, who was in a helpless state, which made it impossible for him to understand the nature and meaning of the actions committed with him and resist.

According to SPARK, Belostotsky is the director of the NPO “Cat”; (Association «Non-Profit Partnership “Tyuments Film Association””).

The director was arrested in 2020. During the year, his relatives managed to hide the criminal prosecution.
